can i replace my Nissan AC Compressor with a toyota Compressor? would that creat any effects on the car?

check the direction of rotation, the mounting points....I'd stand behind a "franken-car" why not? ya got the parts....direction of rotation and electrical connections are compatible (check function) bit of fallin' on your face, but this CAN be done~ direction of rotation and expected PSI and proper installation with vacuum and replacement of the filter/drier and fresh refrigerant R-134a or ARGON gas? do not know the refrigerant each use let alone the direction of rotation, distance from mounting bolts to pulley...pulley change out, active clutch (The same)...I believe that you'll be a DOCTOR....dr frankencool~

you know I actually was looking to see if there was a sub-contractor for ea. and perhaps they were directly interchangeable, but it's not like Frigidaire or Harrison, Mopar or Ford FoMoCo or Rotunda...Fujitsu TEN was a common stereo MFR between Japanese car AM radio MFRs back in the day of pushbutton radios....sadness.....no more....
