My 2004 Nissan Titan is giving me starting problems.

Asked by Russell Jan 26, 2016 at 01:47 PM about the 2004 Nissan Titan SE Crew Cab 2WD

Question type: General

It begin when I would go to start it , it would make this click, click, click, noise, I'll try it again then it would start, that went on for about a month, so I begin to get prices for a starter, I went home last week & parked the truck for about 30 min. Then I went to start it up it begin the clicking noise like the solenoid on the starter so I thought, I change the starter on the truck & the truck was making the same noise, I had the old starter checked its still good, I had them check my battery its good, Changed the Battery terminals, now it only making One click noise like it struck or something. Could I get some leads on where I should start looking or what I should start testing.

That still sounds like a problem with the electrical connections. You may need to replace the battery cables. Make sure the smaller hot wire that goes to the solenoid has a good connection.
