Interlock device breathlyzer

Is it possible to install interlock device on Tesla
model 3 ... And if possible does it void warranty ?

Have you found a shop that will install interlock into tesla

I just spoke with the Tesla service center. It is possible and does not void the warranty for anything other than the wires they connect the device to. HOWEVER, he told me one out the three he dealt with had their computer fried by one of the interlock companies. They had to buy her a new computer and no longer works on Tesla. We are trying to search for a company to install ours. No luck yet.

Smart start says they can do it but the tech has never done a Tesla so I’m nervous. Anyone make any progress on this?

Smart Start Interlock is able to successfuly install on all Models Of Tesla Vehicles. Model S, Model 3, Model X, Model Y.

A&A interlock can installed in any electric car, just call them, takes about 1 hour max time.

My Smart Start does not work very well with my Tesla. As soon as the door or trunk is opened the unit requires a breath sample. And so when kids open the trunk to get something... violation!! Expensive and inconvenient!! Smart Start is taking the line that it isn't the opening of the door that causes the violation, it is the failure to blow. Right!
