Is it monetarily possible with $3000 or close?

Question type: Car Customization

Will the 2.3 liter ecoboost mustang motor fit in a 1997
ford ranger without serious modifications? Stock trans
and only plug in computer problems? Is it doable within
$1000 of cost of motor?

If you already had a complete donor truck and you were a skilled mechanic you might be able to do this for 3 grand.

Do you have everything that goes with the engine such as the ECU, wiring, exhaust system and the intercooler? You would also want the transmission that goes with the engine.
