Buy a better grade car like a Toyota, Honda or maybe a Ford.
Tranny went 2X on my FORD EXPEDITION, Power steering went 3X on my Ford Fusion. Airbag recall - can't get through to the service dealer to get it taken care of. Don't go Ford. I agree with insisting for a loaner vehicle.
similar issue (engine reduced power, check engine light) here on a 1 yr old 2019 Equinox, called the dealer, no "available" loaners to give out - waited a week but still no loaner "available". I am stuck with paying for a rental and no resolution because my dealer is "booked solid" and told me to go somewhere else if i dont like their answer. Never am i getting a Chevy again!!!!
I just bought a 2019 Chevy Equinox lt it has 45 000km on it and I just got the reduced power engine pop on and now my check engine light is also on but my vehicle runs normally!! I’m baffled!!!!

Same here, 2020 equinox. Dealer just replaced the oil sensor on mine today. We will see if it stays fixed this time. Only 2,700 miles on this car!! Twice at dealer for "reduced engine power"

2020 Equinox now 3,830 miles on this car and at the dealership to have the oil pump replaced. Really!!! Then Im told one day fix get back the next morning. Tomorrow rolling into DAY THREE!! No more GM products for me. Im thinking Toyotas and Hondas are looking pretty appealing at this point!
I have a 2016 Ford Escape that I had for 2 years when the transmission suddenly with no warning went out on it. I had to wait 2.5 months before they agreed to fix it which was covered by additional warranty I purchased on the vehicle Ford was not willing to help at all nor provide a loaner. I ended up with the 2019 Chevy Equinox in March of 2021 because of the Ford going out in February 2021. Yesterday while out of town for a job interview I noticed when my phone was connected to the car it no longer would pull up my directions on the radio screen 30 mins following I'm at a red light with my feet on the brakes when I switch to the gas when the light turns green the car engine light comes on the car isn't picking up speed past 32 mph and an information sign is reading "reduced engine power" service "ESC" unsure what it means and after speaking to the dealer who I got the car told to because onstar said they could view it by this Friday then spoke to the dealer when they opened they tell me they booked out two weeks and aren't doing loaners due to covid. Now if the cost of my car includes this extended warranty and bumper to bumper warranty where with the original warranty it includes loaners BUT all dealers reserve the right to refuse to provide loaners WHY is it even included in the warranty which is apart of the cost of the car which then means I'm paying for a service I never get to receive FORD wouldn't do loaners when my Ford went out now Chevrolet on the same bull crap I'm tired of being ripped off with these car dealers my Chevy only has 35k miles on it why am I stranded in this hotel in the middle of a ghost town?
