Car feels like the parking brake is on when it isn't
I have a '97 Ford Ranger with manual transmission. Little less than a month ago I had the main drive shaft bearing replaced. Just yesterday I noticed that if my truck has been sitting for more than 20 minutes, when I put it into 1st it almost feels like the parking break is on and I have to overcome it to get moving. Nothing bad happens in reverse, and after I get going that first time I don't notice a problem at all. When I do get going, there's no grinding, no squeeling, no noise whatsoever to indicate something isn't moving freely - just that sense of the brakes being on.... Is this something with the new bearing that'll work itself out, or do I have a problem here?
