2020 Hyundai Elantra shift knob

I took apart the plastic trim around my shift
knob but the shift boot and knob won’t come
off. does anyone know how to take it off or if
it’s even able to be taken off.

You have to use a lot of force but it pops off. Make sure it stays in neutral.
