You need three things for the engine to run. Fuel, spark and compression. Let's see what's missing. Spray a little bit of starting fluid down the throttle body. It should run a few seconds on that. If it does, you have a fuel problem such as a bad fuel pump for example. If it will not run at all on the starting fluid you either have no spark or no compression. Check for spark first. If you have spark and fuel (the starting fluid) it's time to do a compression test. If all cylinders test very low or zero it's jumped timing and the timing chain and sprockets will need to be replaced. But before you approve that repair make sure you don't have an interference engine. If you do, and you have no compression serious engine damage has already occurred and the vehicle probably isn't worth fixing. Jim
