Interchangeable motors with a 2003 nissan murano

Asked by Tonya Mar 11, 2021 at 11:53 PM about the 2003 Nissan Murano SL

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hello I have a 2003 Nissan Murano with a
bad engine and I found a pretty good deal on
a used motor same kind of car but the year is
different. What year models would be
compatible with 2003 if any? Thank you for
any help you can give me.

You're going to replace an old worn motor with an old worn motor ? ? I wouldn't , weigh your options as to the price of another against what that car is worth if you have to buy a new engine and all kinds of other stuff for an 18 year old car .

Yup. Probably a waste of money. Compare the installed engine price to the cars worth. I suggest using the money as a down on a good car (not a Nissan).
