My 1996 Nissan Sentra GXE automatic GA16DE acts like it's trying to turn over but it won't start. I've already tested the battery, it's good, also cleaned the battery terminals; replaced the fuel pump relay, change the spark plugs in Sept 2018 & checked them after this problem started for any cracks, changed the spark plug wires, the rotor & distributor, the car still won't start. I can hear the fuel pump when I turn the switch on. Any ideas on what else could be the cause of the engine not engaging to start? Thank you. 1 Answer

When I started my car for around a week the radio sometimes wouldn't turn on at all. Then one day the car wouldn't start. Just the clicking sound with radio, lights and everything on. I have a 1998 Nissan Sentra and I recently cleaned out the carburetor using a spray cleaner. Inside the throttle body it was filthy.
