Question type: General

Where can I buy a fuel lock for my 2020 Ford
escape SEL AWD.  I can only find the lock for 2019
and older.  2020 is a new redesign model. Thanks

Check with your local recycler to see if they might have one. New cars get wrecked often, mostly after the rains hit!

Correct, after you open the fuel door by pushing on it, the nozzle doesn't have a cap nor needs one. It's a new design. When you close the fuel door fully, then lock the vehicle, all doors, including the fuel door will be locked. Try it to make sure.

TDolby, I can still open the fuel door after locking the car. :(

If the fuel door doesn't latch properly you should get it fixed under your warranty.

FOR, it latches normally. I only want to buy a lock for the fuel locking cap. I only find older models locking cap available, not 2020. Maybe someone can tell me if the 2019 will fit the 2020?

Hey F_O_R. The fuel door doesn't nor have they ever locked with the doors. Not on a Escape anyway. As Bugs Bunny says. "What uh Maroon."

Wow, what a bunch of idiots, try reading the question before answering. The answer to the question is nobody makes a locking gas cap/plug for the 2020 Escape yet.

Yeah y'all need to unlock your brain before you start flapping those lips.
