solid red security light

The security light stays solid red , i can start it with no problems noticed .I
replaced the battery a few months ago but never noticed if it was solid then ,
dont drive it much .any thoughts

As far as I know this usually means that something is wrong with the alarm system being armed or the locks failing. This happened to me a few months ago, I reset the faulty lock and it went back to normal. This was all done on a VW Passat, so I'm not really sure if this helps but it might be of similar nature. In any case, I suggest having it checked. Have a nice day!
