Is your check engine light on? Would be a good investment to get a cheap little scan tool off Amazon.

First you will want to pull the engine diagnostic trouble codes that would be the reason for the check engine light to be on. Mine did the same thing and it turned out to be the crank position sensor which goes hand in hand with the cam position sensor. Meaning if you change one then you should change the other as well

Same exact thing happened to me. Limped it home, ran the on-board diagnostic, got a code referring to the transmission. When I did that, it reset the check engine light. Took it to my transmission guy, they couldn't duplicate the problem. Has ran like a watch ever since. I believe it was a poor fuel issue, the supercharged models NEED 91 octane minimum. I add a true octane booster with every tank, and the truck runs perfectly, with 194,000 miles.
