Question type: Car Customization
So..I want to take this car.
And put this engine in it.
And supercharge it. And everything else I can
without blowing it.
Of course. I'm gonna need suspension. A really
good cutting torch and welder. But this is my
dream car. Help.
Gonna also need. Tires I'm gonna need.
Electric stuff to help steer. Types of breaks.
Everything internal. I wanna make work.
The outside. Because it's such an amazing
lookingcar. I want that body style. So help. Please.
Input. Want to take out quite the loan for this. But I
wanna make it happen someday.

50 grand is a pretty good budget. LSX series engines are the new hot thing. But as an alternative, why not hunt around for a crashed vette or a CTS-V and salvage the drivetrain and save a ton of money. Late model supercharged vettes made better than 600 hp from the factory. you wont need the cutting torch since all of it will fit nicely in this car. A welder would be helpful. But there are kits to make this a bolt in project.
I guess I just wanna max out that hp. My goal is somewhere over 1000 or 1200. But if I could get. Every bit. I'd be happy. And as far as I know that Chevrolet engine is the only one.. Maybe I can shop around for a crashed car with that under the hood. Not sure but I didn't think about shopping crashed cars
My uncle has built one it's got a 350 with 3spd tranny it will pull the front wheels 6in+ off the ground I rode in it. The 454 is another power House but it adds extra weight. The ls engines are designed for power and rough treatment. Turbo 400 tranny's are torque resistant but without proper suspension and driveline it'll do tons of damage.
I don't want one restored. I want to build something to unique to me. Custom. Powerful. And classic looking. For me. Price dosent matter in the long run

I have an 06 GTO, with a LS2 6.0 thats making 600 at the rear wheels, on pump premium. It's my daily summer car. It cruises along on the expressway at 100 MPH in sixth gear at 2300 rpm with the air on and makes 20+mpg. I plan to supercharge it with a net HP of around 1000 I dont konow how it will affect the mileage but im not really concerned
