my car will not go over 35mph

i have a 2001 nisssan exterra and i cant get it over 35mph the transmission is new and I changed the fuel filter but it still will not go over 35mph wat else can be making it do this I cant take it to a machine cuz the only one I can go to is in Lawton Oklahoma and I cant drive 35mph from altus Oklahoma to Lawton Oklahoma and my check engine light is on but the only code that comes up is the knock sensor.

I had that problem and it was a fuse blown to the throttle body Put out inn the computer first. Said it was the throttle body almost 300. I googled it first..a 15 amp fuse. Saved me alot of money.
