how do I remove a fuse re: lights, interior dash, power windows, door locks, is their a special tool to remove the blue fuse box?

Asked by Caridad Jul 30, 2013 at 04:41 AM about the 2000 Nissan Altima GXE

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

recently changed the alternator, and blew a fuse that controls the lights, and power windows, dash and turn signals.
Peach black and fan does not go on, it did before I changed ALT, however I forgot to
disconnect battery and accidently sparked the Alt wire along the engine. Went to start
the car and power was not operable?

Get out your owners manual, or go online and look for your car and you will find the information you need.
