Why are my brake and battery warning lights on?

I checked all three; Parking brake totally off; New Battery- its ok; New Alternator - ok; Brake fluid is full- ok; Still both brake and batter light come; I observed it came when I started the Cruise; SO do you think does cruise sys has a link to this prob/indication?

Same problem, 2012 Altima. Thru process of elimination im almost positive its related to the cruise module, bc it doesnt seem to happen when cruise is not on and i have no other signs of battery, alternator, or brake issues. Also, mine only come on when the car has been driven a good bit and then traffic jams up and its now a stop and go situation and only when the cruise control is switched on.
