2010 Camry Hybrid takes 2-3 minutes to start

Asked by Fernb Apr 11, 2017 at 09:17 PM about the 2010 Toyota Camry Hybrid FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

When I start my 2010 Camry Hybrid, all the warning lights appear on the
instrument panel. After ~30 seconds, the fuel gauge needle goes up to the
correct value. After ~60 seconds the AC comes on. The car will only turn off
if the brake pedal is not depressed. I then turn the car on and off 1-3 times.
After another 60 seconds, the radio comes on and the car starts fine. Could
the 12V battery need changing, or is this more likely an expensive electrical
issue.
