Im unclear why my car smells hot no leaking on the ground but reservoir low so is radaitor

After a 55 minute drive (car waz cooled down for over 30
minutes before the hour drive) the temp gauge shot up past
the hot i immediately turned car off pushed to the dead end
opened  hood and my radiator hose had blown off radiator
reservoir empty and of course so was radiator now every
other day i have to top off both ......i noticed the spot where
the hose and radiator connect some of the plastic on the
radiator has broken off

You might have a blockage in the radiator that overpressurized the upper rad hose and blew it off. A pic of the damaged area might help. Obviously you have a severe problem with the cooling system, and driving it without fixing it is bad, you are pushing your luck with blowing the motor. In fact a blown head gasket can also cause symptoms like yours, so it may already be too late. You'll need to get it checked out. Block tester can at least let you know if hydrocarbons from the combustion process are getting into the coolant.
