Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 1997 Ford Thunderbird that needs some repairs. Recently I have noticed it
takes a while for the car to build pressure (prime) to the fuel pump. At first I thought it
was the fuel pump but when I looked at they system I noticed that a small part is
broken. The part is the valve stem (for lack of a better word), of the air pressure release.
So that if you get air in your fuel system you can press the valve down and it will
release the air in your fuel system. The only thing broken is the valve stem because it
was pushed down to far. I was wonder what is this part called and how much will it cost
to replace it? Also what is a place I can buy it from?

Get one that has a viton seal. Viton is fuel resistant.
