Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hi
I have Honda Civic Hybrid 2006. While driving in warm weather where temperature ranges between 21-25 C, The Car 'D' light flash and go into fail-safe mode. I shifted it to 'S' and it work fine. If I leave the car and let it cool down, 'D' start working fine again. Any suggestions? Thanks.

My Honda has a 5-speed manual but my '08 Altima which I had since new has a CVT and I have had many issues with it without abusing the car, the dealer turned their back on it.... they never hear the strange noises it makes... I have been told and read that they are a glorified concept of the standard snowmobile trans re-designed & adapted for use in cars. If you think of it, the original design (s/m) was meant for cold weather operation only. Like using an ice breaker in the Mississippi River.

I am having same problem with my 2007 Honda Civic hybrid. Did you find out what is wrong with yours?
