Wont start

I just replaced the alternator on my 99 Nissan
Maxima only to get it started and get going and
then about 20 miles down the road all my lights
come on my abs my traction control and the car
lost power well none of my gauges is working and
now it won't start back up what could that be

Did you put a Nissan alternator in? If not, aftermarket ones will not work properly in Asian vehicles, They cause back feeding in the electrical system.

Well I'm not sure it said O M on it I believe I ordered it from eBay costly like 70 bucks
