how to test a clutch starter switch

my 1998 frontier's clutch starter switch has stopped working after replacing the nipple on the clutch that engages the clutch it still doesn't start is there a way to test the switch its self

Yes with a continuity tester, or even a $1 test light. Bench test is easier, with it out. If there is continuity when the switch is depressed, and should have none when not depressed should be open circuit ...click for full screen
