No spark at plug

Question type: Maintenance & Repair
My ignition coil has a spark. Installed new dist. cap
and rotor still no spark at plug or at the top of the
cap. The spark from the coil won't reach more than
1/8 of an inch max. Weak coil?

1/8" is good. Remove distributor cap to see if the distributor shaft rotates, it may be stripped.

What happened was I dumped the clutch and killed it and it hasn't started since. Think it could have jumped time or something?
It would not affect not having spark at the plugs. If there's no spark at the pugs it won't start no matter what, unless there is spark and you thought it wasn't strong enough then do a compression test

Is that distributor gear or pulse signal powered? Make sure the rotor is spinning with engine. Also check the ECCS relay
2009 Nissan does not spark , changed computer . Still nothing works. Need help

Ok first! We are starting from scratch! Forget everything prior! Check to see if fuel pump is kicking on (you should be able to hear it) or use test lights every time key is turned on. Then check to make sure sparks are at plugs? At first you said it was weak then none. If you have neither check to make sure crank sensor is good and ECM us grounded and signal wire to coil pack is good by pulling harness from plug and test each individual pin. If all that is done check your timing by either using a bright marker on crank pulley and cam and let me know how what you come up with
