1998 Nissan Maxima- New battery, car won't start..lights on dash light up but nothing else.. I also have a push button start because the ignition switch gave out about a year ago. What could be the problem?

Before you spend money on unnecessary repairs, have someone put it on a code machine and it will tell you exactly what is malfunctioning. The alternator or tune up may be the problem. Get parts on line from car parts.com. Extremely inexpensive and a 1-2 delivery. Hope this helps
