why my car wont start after it warms up?

my car wont start after the has run for a while specially on a hot weather, everything comes on,but it wont even turn the engine. Dead nothing happens when i turn the inginition key.
it run awesome when it starts, it has 238,000 miles the car doesnt even burn oil i had synthetic oil since a bouthg it.
we replace the knok sensor clear the code and light come back on..

any ideas???

What code did you have? When you turn the key, no clicking noise or anything from the starter? How long does it take after cooling down to start again?

i cant remember the code but it was for knok sensor i think it said bank1. no noise at all from just a click at ignition. as soon as it cool down it will start again. someone from work said maybe the start silonoid? i being goin to trhu a lot of starters but th last one was bout 2yrs ago. we dont use car this alot. thanks for the response..
