Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 1997 Nissan Pathfinder.  My right headlight went out.  Got a new bulb, still don't work.  Took working bulb from the left headlight and it didn't work either.  Can anyone tell me which wiring I need to look at?  It's got to be some wiring.  In the very front of the car near the parking lights there are two wires hanging there not connected. Black and red one.  This car rear ended another car about a month ago, but the headlight did not come near anything on the other car to get damaged.  Could it be those two wires that are hanging loose?  I can't afford to take it in.  So if someone could please help me it would be great. Thanks!

Cindy

I did. I've checked fuses followed wiring and it still won't work. But yes, I did do that. :(
