So you "ripped out" the ignition and are surprised that you have electrical issues? Imagine that!
I thought this site was supposed to be for people who need answers to their vehicle problems. NOT FOR DISRESPECTFUL ASS PEOPLE TO POST rude remarks about what u'very posted
Nick, I haven't begun to even start getting rude. If you do dumb things and ask questions here regarding how to fix them you need to expect to be called out on it. You need a mechanic to help you with this because when you "ripped out" the ignition that may have caused the entire issue. Calling me names will not get your vehicle fixed. Have a nice holiday.
Clearly the problem is the person who ripped out all the wiring. Find a Competent mechanic and pay them a truck load of money fix your mistakes. Do you actually think the problem is not related to your ham handed attempt to "fix" your truck?

Man this was really a wasted time reading this post thinking I was going to get an answer to my problem. I am having the same issue but I did not "rip" anything out. I very carefully clipped all 5 wires on the ignition switch and removed it, wired up a toggle switch and now my truck is startable via push start. However I have no dash or tail lights since the change. I know what all 5 wires do and I have the switch wired correctly my truck runs just fine it's just the problem with the lights. What gives?
What gives is a person getting in over their head and cutting wires. If it were correctly wired as you claim everything would work.
