Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My brake lights DO NOT TURN ON. The switch under the dash is GOOD. The
rear BULBS ARE GOOD, I do know about Sentra brake lights staying ON. I DO
NOT have that problem, The brake light fuse is good

Probably the crappy stoplamp switch went bad, I have a 2017 sentra and about to go for it's second switch. When you have a push start car is even worst since the car will not start.

Thanks for answering. I wasted days trying to find the problem. It must be a broken wire but I never found it.The switch was ok. I finally gave up and fixed it by running a new wire with a fuse from the + battery to the interior thru a hole in the floor board to the switch and then from the switch under the carpet back to the trunk and then to the brake light bulb + wires. Works great but kind of hokey.
