The heater in my '96 Max is not working.

Asked by Kirsten Nov 21, 2013 at 01:58 PM about the 1996 Nissan Maxima SE

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Warm air comes out but not blowing (like the fan is broken).  Before I would have to disconnect the hose from the motor and reconnect it to get it to work.  Now, it just won't blow at all.  What do I need to replace?

No suction. The hose is not leaking. It used to work if I would bang the motor until about a month ago.

Thank you so much! On a scale of 1-10, how simple of a repair is it?
