Question type: Maintenance & Repair

T1994 Nissan Altima. Did a car wash (accident years ago, some water gets in the trunk). Some water got into my tail light assy. Two of my bulbs blew -One shattered. Replaced but not sure what #'s the bulbs were. How do you tell the difference between #1156 & 1157?
I replaced the top two bulbs. They still don't work. The other side lights up so I didn't check the fuse. Are there two fuses for the brake/tail lights? Thanks for any help!

Those bulbs normally get extremely hot ... sometimes enough water gets inside the housing to contact the bulb when on a bumpy road or hard braking ... when that happens ....POP!
