why wont my truck start now after i change the oil pump gasket does the drive gear have something to do with the timing

it turn over but acts like the timing is off

You may have knocked the crankshaft sensor wire off or cracked the sensor with the oil pan.

We had problem with lose of power it was running fine and we went to tighten the bolts on the oil pump because it was leaking and I tighten to hard and made leaking worsted some I pull the oil pump off and little shaft fell out so I remove my oil pan to put the shaft that connect to rotate end and oil pump end put all back together now I have no power to my idle system What could be wrong

Turn the engine with the crankbolt until you get to TDC on compression stroke. Pull dist cap and make sure rotor button is pointed directly at #1 plug wire, if not loosen dist bolts, turn it until it does
