my 1992 nissan sentra starts then after a min boggs out like the battery was dying but i turn the car off ,turn on the headlights and they are as brite as could be please help me

Jump starting another car shouldn't hurt either car unless you inadvertently got the polarities mixed up. If this happened you could have any number of electronic problems stemming from that. One thing you could try is to disconnect your battery for 1 minute. Hook the battery back up and see if problem cleared.

wats disconnecting ur battery going to achive u need it off for atleast 15 mins for the ecu to reset

I wasn't referring to resetting the ECU. Normally the ECU will reset itself with the environment/conditions. This is a simple thing to try and might reveal a loose battery connection from jump starting. I should have mentioned to clean the cable ends and battery terminals.
