what does the fluid look like? are there boulders in that? is it noisy?
Fluid looks ok for for 122,000 miles. There is a squeaking noise when the steering is turned, no boulders.

okay change your power steering fluid, if this doesn't help...PickNpull time, put on your boots grab the appropriate wrenches to put in your pockets (wear a big coat, saves the toolbox inspection) find one in a rear- end collision is your best bet with lo mileage~best of luck ~jr013bn

there has to be a characteristic about the fluid...after so much mileage has lost it's "muju" so to speak....my crack about the boulders happens when ethylene glycol has spent two or three lifetimes in service without being changed, was thinking the fluid looks weird and watery by now and hasn't got the elastomeric properties of the proper ATF or brake fluid or whatever the bar is servin' today~
Seems an A.C. hose was leaking oil and and oil was getting on the power steering pulley. I wrapped the leaking hose with a shop towel and power steering started worked again.
