Hello, Just got the Sonata 2021 Limited and Changed them out. The owners manual is close but not perfect or easy to understand. The lights are accessed from behind and under the rear bumper. For the driver side this requires removing the push pins holding the plastic underbody plate. It does not have easy access. From there the lights can be accessed. First you need to remove the wiring from the light bulb holder. In my case this was just needing to gently wiggle it off. From there the bulb holder is easy to grab and rotate out rotating the top towards the passenger side. then you can remove the bulb and replace it in the reverse order. I recommend installing the bulb holder before connecting the wire back on as the wiring is hard to get a good grip on since it is nearly round and the bulb holder is much less round. Reattach the wiring and you are good to go. For the passenger side it is both easier and harder as there is no plastic underbody plate but you need to work around the tailpipe. However it is removed the same way. I am not a car guy so I apologize if this is poorly worded.

And what kind of bulbs did you replace them with?
@garrett where did you find the replacement? Can you make a recommendation?
