Air fuel gauge

I have a 1991 Nissan 240sx with an
sr20det in it. I have a prosport wideband
air fuel gauge and it keeps reading around
18.2-20.1 but my cars running fine not hot
at all  and doesn't seem like it's running
that lean. Any ideas why this is happening?
