My 90 nissan 300zx won't start

Question type: Maintenance & Repair
I bought a 1990 nissan 300zx and I
replaced the battery. So now the security
signal blinks every time I want to start it.
The car cranks and even I was able to make
it start but it only lasted 30 seconds. What's
wrong help?

try to run a diagnostic on it this site will help you http://www.nicoclub.com/archives/nissan-300zx-z32-ecu-diagnostic.html
It is possible that the key is not coded to the car.It sounds as if the theft system is shutting the fuel system down.It is possible that the ECU is bad.I bought a 84 300zx in April that would only run for 30 seconds when it started. It turned out to be the ECU.Check the fuel pressure with a gauge that you can rent at AUTOZONE.
Buy a Chevy. Ha ha. I have same problem with a 1986 Nissan z. Turbo. Cranks fine no start. Security light flashing when cranking
