Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Engine will not start,is it normal that all the lights in the instrument cluster go
out when cranking? Been trying everything to get it to run , replaced crank
sensors, ignition module, cam sensor, computer. Anyone have any ideas?

It may be that your security code needs to be reset. If for some reason the car won’t start but it’s trying to turn over it’s the security code. It locks the car and keeps it from starting. If you look up resetting the security code on the web you will find several ways to do it. I have a 2001 Alero and it’s done that to me twice. Do you still have the cars manual? It may be in there on how to reset it. Mine was reset by a friend.

It's a blown 10amp fuse in front of the compressor relay, located in engine bay fuse box, bcm fuse
