"branded" steerhead vinyl upholstery in Falcons

Asked by Guru7PBL5 Jun 16, 2020 at 08:14 PM about the 1961 Ford Falcon 4 Door Station Wagon RWD

Question type: General

A friends dad had a new ford Falcon wagon in the early 60s. The upholstery
was vinyl, and had steerheads emblazoned on it. It was supposed to simulate
"branding" It wasn't the steerhead pattern woven or printed into the fabric,
although it may have been fabric with vinyl trim. Has anyone else ever seen
this?

I have a 1963 Ranchero that still has this upholstery.
