WHATS WRONG WITH MY 96 FORD EXPLORER???????

I have a 1996 Ford explorer XLT 4X4, my truck has a loud sound like high speed
drill under the hood. It makes this noise when i put it in reverse or coming to a
stop at a stop light. When going down the road bout 30 to 35 mph it makes the
sound if u let go of the gas or putting it in  reverse. CAN ANYVBODY HELP???

These Explorers have transmission problems, and ford refuses to acknowledge it and continued to sell them with these issues for over a decade and its not just a rebuild it needs, the internal design is flawed and rebuild will not fix them but for so long and I am dumbfounded the amount of these that still being sold to good people and they have no clue about it, you were took advantage of and if you bought it used its already been rebuilt at least once.
