Why doesn't my van heater blow hot air?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My van doesn't blow hot air in any mode during the winter. I have had the
antifreeze exchanged after running about 50 miles with cleaner in the system
last summer, but it still doesn't heat up in the winter like it should. Air temp
from vents is about 90 degrees, not enough to warm up van very much.

Your vent doors may not be opening up, copy and paste/ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VBZMdPKrgNs

Thank you for the info, watched video and checked actuator. It is working fine. Still not very hot, not sure why, as engine seems to be heating up just fine. Any other ideas? Heater core is not leaking.

You may have some air in the system, try to burp it and see what happens...look up you tube to show how...

No air in system, but did realize that fans kicked on when turned on motor. I think that the thermostat is stuck open, so water never gets really hot. Am going to replace the thermostat ant see what happens.

Well, replaced the thermostat and it solved the problem. I guess it was stuck open and the engine never could heat up to temp.
