Noise while car is running some times

Sounds like a suction noise idle drops and
goes ruff for a couple of sec. Will go away
if I give it gas

Vacuum leak. Common leak spots include PCV elbow and EGR hose. If you can hear suction then hopefully it will lead you right to the problem. http://www.aa1car.com/library/vacleak.htm
