1999 Olds intrigue, It will not turn off.

It would not turn over so I replaced the ignition switch with one I found at a local wrecker. The car started intantly, better then ever before, the issue is now it wont turn off. Do I have an electrical issue or do you think the used switch I got is no good as well?

Sounds like faulty switch. But if it's one with a sliding rod might just need adjusting a little bit to break the circuit properly. Just a thought.

Sliding rod? I am not sure what to look for there or how to adjust. But it sounds like the problem.
