My friend has a ford probe but sadly he is not online so I am trying to find answers for him when cold the car runs well when it gets hot the car judders immobiliser light comes on and it cuts out

My friend has a 1996 ford probe that when cold runs ok. When hot the engine
judders cuts out and the immobiliser lights come on. He has had new h/t
leads fitted but that seems to make no difference. As he sadly is not online I
am trying to get him hopefully the right answers

The immobilizer may be the sole culprit, if it is activating intermittently it will cut out the injectors, making the engine seem like it is stumbling. You will have to look at the ECU, keys, and anti theft circuit to see why it is activating. Just reimprinting the keys to the car may help.
