Why won't My lights turn off

Not much of a description like when they went out, where you working on the car, did you remove the battery...anyway did you check the fuse? Could be the switch that turns on the light which I think is in the steering wheel...or you might have a short...

looked out my window headlights r on tried to shut them off no good disconnected battery overnight thought it would reset it didnt
