Anti-theft immobilizer

Asked by Reel Feb 11, 2022 at 01:30 PM about the 1999 Plymouth Voyager Minivan

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I recently replaced my battery on my 1999
Plymouth Voyager and it tripped the anti-theft and
now car won't start. I have tried turning the key into
auxiliary for 10 minutes, I have tried unlocking
driver side door, all doors. Nothing has worked.
What can I do to get my van running again? Please
help thank you

This may or may not work. From inside manually lock all the doors except the drivers door, with keys in hand exit the vehicle and using the key lock the drivers door and remove the key, wait at least 30 seconds then unlock the drivers door and see if it will start and run. If it fails then you need the dealer to reset the security system.
