Why would my car die?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Driving about 20 mph and turning, instrument panel turned all red, car died,
returned to normal in a second. 3/4 gas tank, less than 2,000 miles.

Take it back to your local Toyota Dealer to be fixed for free under warranty. Unfortunately if this is an intermittent problem you'll have to wait until the vehicle drops dead and stays dead before they can fix it unless you discover that it always dies in a certain situation. Like making a right hand turn, for example. That way they can duplicate the problem. Hope that helps! Jim
