Have you checked your fuses?
Check fuses as dadyoun suggests and consider the possibility of either both bulbs are burned out or an added trailer outlet or its wiring si shorted/open. Easy stuff first: check the fuses.
How do i fix no tail lights every thing else works changed bulbs check fues all good
Look for bad splice under driver side door in floor. Wires run right under were you step to get in truck.
Check the door lock fuse. Mine blows prior to the tail light fuse, but it goes next. Still working on this.
Both of my rear taillights went out simultaneously 10-27-2020. I checked the fuses but this does not seem to be the problem. In the above blog string I read a "GuruNYS6C" that a splice might have gone bad underneath the drives side door frame just underneath the vehicle below where you step in to enter the truck. This is music to my ears. I just did body work there so this makes total sense. However, last night in desperation I used the hot 12V lead from the rear dome light to power the taillights. I was in the Home Depot parking light when someone told me about the issue. I bought some wire and connectors McGyver'ing the light back on to avoid tickets on long trip home. Thank you Bog for insights. So good this internet. At least here, in blogland, we are all working together to make things move forward more smoothly. Why can't politicians do the same?
