Had same problem with 85 e150. It would shut down with no warning going 40 mph(or any speed!) and I could shift into neutral, restart it, shift back to drive and keep going. I had some temporary luck changing the ignition module, but eventually the problem came back and got so bad it would take 6 or 7 restarts to get down my 1/4 mile driveway to get the mail. The beast will soon be taking it's rightful place in the boneyard!!!!
