I have a 1996 Plymouth breeze it wouldn't start later that night it started ran for 3 days and now didn't start again. 2 hours later it starts but won't stay started

One thing to check would be the fuel pressure, if it is low it would cause hard starting. There are other things also, like a ignition control module, or the coil pickup that can be tested.

Bad engine wiring harness. That car is notorious for it. The insulation on the wires coming off the crank sensor, the cam sensor and the engine temperature sensor turn to like a soft putty and the bare wires start to touch intermittently. Pull the whole engine harness, remove all the horrid tape, repair and replace any connectors by SOLDERING and using heat shrink tubing. Then use all new split loom covering and re-install
